blood_pressure3CLINICS

It is important for all patients with ASTHMA, COPD, or CHD to have a regular assessment.  Our specialist nurses carry these out in normal clinic time at both surgeries.  Appointments can be made via telephone.

DIABETIC CLINICS

All diabetic patients should have regular checks to maintain good health and prevent complications of diabetes. We have 2 nurses who specialise in diabetes and can see you in normal surgery. We recommend you have an annual review and to be seen in between as required.

CERVICAL SMEARS

We suggest a cervical smear is carried out every 3-5 years when appropriate.  A specialist nurse usually carries these out in ordinary surgery times.  The screening service is for all women aged between 25 and 64 years old.

MINOR SURGERY

A doctor can do certain minor surgery procedures at the surgery.  Please ask any doctor/nurse about theses procedures.

flu_shotFLU VACCINATION CLINICS

We particularly recommend this for patients with heart disease, chest or kidney disease and any other chronic disease, including diabetes.

It is recommended for everyone over 65 years old and for residents of nursing and rest homes.  Please contact the reception staff in late September for details of our flu vaccination clinics.
